Just a speck, bumbling around on a mossy rock hurtling blindly through the void.

Broom.
Scotch Broom. It's everywhere. It seems that people either hate it or love it. There are also people who are indifferent to it. I am one of those people. Despite whatever reason some people have for hating

Nearly Wrecked.
I've always enjoyed the phrase "Ain't broke, just badly bent" This neglected-looking vessel in the bay reminded me of that right away. Nearly wrecked, but ain't sunk yet. Thanks for swingin'

Island Mist.
B.C.'s coast offers some pretty awesome views. Having been partially raised on the prairies I don't take this landscape for granted, I love this place. A casual afternoon stroll through the local woods

Ever find yourself trying to explain why you like something to...yourself? I find the best way to deal with that kind of situation is to simply say "Fuck it, I like what I like and that's all there

On Hating One's self.
The kettle screams. Grounds are soaked and brewed. of pouring liquid, followed by the gentle sharpness of metal lightly rebounding off ceramic, complete a relaxed atmosphere. Have you ever failed yourself?

A rather dreary and dismal day in the harbor when these were snapped. The way the horizon was lost to the mist and eternity presented itself as a pleasing backdrop to the piers really caught my attention.

It's Friday! So i suppose that means this is my entry for the FridaySkyblue color challenge. Palm trees always remind me of Dr. Seuss, what do you think?

Ekin' out a living.
A tenacious little plant growing with gusto on a retaining wall in a parking lot. Thanks for stopping by my little spot on the rock, did you enjoy your stay? Feel free to say hi and toss some spare change

Yellow color challenge
Thought I'd try out the color challenge I've spotted going around the blog-o-sphere. These pics I had seemed like a natural fit, even if the second one doesn't really have a ton of color at all. Mmmmmm...tasty

Bamboo...and company.
High-key shots are also something I enjoy. Reminds me of a telus commercial. (They were/are really into high key imagery and lately have been using animals instead of plants.) It's better to enjoy them

Backlighting.
As time goes on and scrolling through my blog takes longer and longer you may start to see patterns. Some of you may be on to the idea that i like droplets on plants. While others may notice a strong presence

Take Steemit to work day(s)!
Well good day and welcome, fellow Steemians, to another post where I show you what I get up to in the day. Remember that last post about this project we left on a sour note about a wall giving us attitude?

Sunday Evening Post.
How are you this fine Sunday evening? Are you the kind to curl up with a good book and a glass of spirit? Or maybe you pay video games until you hate yourself for staying up so late before having to go

Wet plants.
I love me some water droplets on leaves and petals and whatnot. Not sure what it is about them, I'm just a sucker for these kind of photos. Pentax K200D old Pentax 1:2 50mm fixed lens.

Plum Tree.
One of my favorite earlier bits of photography in my archive. I think I like it as much as I do because it turned out so much better than I expected. Love when that happens. Submitting this for FridaySkyblue

Monochrome droplets.
Something a little less sinister than the previous post, something to lighten the mood? An older k-1000 shot of some dewy blades in the garden taken with a 50 mm fixed lens. Some day would like to get
