This was taken on the boat ramp leading off of winter Island in Salem, Massachusetts. Salem was the birth place of the National Guard for the United States and Winter Island is actually home to some old national guard barracks. The island has since been converted to a beautiful campground with access to the beach. The campground is also about a mile from the historic Salem district.
