The US capital building in Washington D.C. exhibits beautiful craftsmanship and architecture. While this building is largely celebratory of American History, I'd be remiss not to include the fact that this was largely built with slave labor. As such, this building is an excellent representation of America's struggle with applying the principles the country was founded on.
