For this week's smartphone photography contest I thought I'd share a picture of progress. These are all cups I made trying to get a blue cup just right. I was a little rusty so it took me a few tries to get the general shape down, but as you can see if you examine the cups from right to left, they improve significantly. The cup furthest to the left has straight sidewalls, a thin lip, and nice proportions; everything you'd hope to accomplish when blowing a glass cup.
