Liverpool announced the Brazil goalkeeper Alisson as their new signing from the Italian club Roma for a world record price for a goalkeeper £65m.
The former Roma goalkeeper was said to be a main target for both Real Madrid and Chelsea following his encouraging display at Roma in the UEFA Champions League last season, before he ultimately signed for the UCL first runners up.
After the two clubs have agreed, the 25 year old, on Thursday 19th, penned down a long term deal with the club that disqualified his former club from the 2017/18 UEFA Champions League, Liverpool.
"I am very delighted, I have been dreaming of wearing this shirt and now my dream is in reality. I know I just took another important step in my career and I promise to donate my all for the success." He said.
