Pigs aren't that dirty at all as you alyways might imagine. They surprisingly seem to be very clean animals. They just dig in the dirt to find some food and they basically eat everything they can.
The roll around in dirt for one reason - cooling off on hot days. And they also seem to be decent intelligent. You can basically train a pig like you would train a dog.
In some regions they are kept for collecting truffel and their sense of smell is very good. They are able to smell the underground truffels and are more reliable than dogs.
Almost sad that most of them were raised for the meat production and are kept under very bad circumstances.
And yes, seems like the female pigs are having an extra round of fun while mating :>
