When a dog moves it's tail to the right it is a sign of happyness. If the tail moves to the left side its sadness.
Dogs are not crying like humans so they have another form of emotion expression. Though they can also look sad their mood is reflected by their whole body language.
They are also far more intelligent as you may think. They know exactly when they did something wrong and feel sad for things that happened.
They are also not able to watch television, but they pretend to, so they can stay close to you.
Many animals are underestimated by us people :>.
They are also not called the "humans best friend" for nothing.
