Fish don't drink water - but they absorb it with their skin.
Ever wondered how fish in the ocean drink water? Since it is so salty it is probably not healthy for an organism to drink it. Humans can not drink only salt water aswell to survive, since you would dehydrate internal from it. Fish are having the same problem, but they can absorp the water with their skin, so the salt stays outside.
Whenever you are stranded on a lonely island - don't try to drink the salt water of the ocean. Try to get your hands on rain water oder try to collect water from the heat of a sunny day. Water is condensing on some places and is very clean, when you can collect it.
By the way - what would you take with you on a lonely island? Everytime when I hear this question people talk about there favourite things like a book - I personally think something useful like a water filter, a flintstone to make fire and basic survival gear would fit the best!
