Iceland shells can live up to 500 years.
Some organisms on this planet are exceptional resistant to aging. Not only the iceland shell can live that long, but the greenland shark is also able to live about 400 years.
There are a few mushroom organism that are huge - lots of football fields wide and there organisms are able to live thousands of years.
So why does a human have such a limited livespan? Even galapagos tortoises can live up to 200 years.
Hopefully science in the future will be able to enhance livespans of us and we are not forced to leave this earth so "soon".
Some people don't want to live forever - but wouldn't that be better? If you stay as young as you are now?
The human aging process need to be stopped and I am pretty sure humanity will achieve this within the next 100 years - what are your thought about that?
