Tardigrades The Toughest Creature In Existence

Source: https://www.pulseheadlines.com/tardigrades-wouldnt-life-earth/65163/

Know as Water Teddy Bear these little microscopic creatures live in water and can resist all forms of catastrophe.
They are hard to kill and can live in cold temperatures less than -272 degrees celsius and as hot as 150 degrees celsius. They can be blasted into outer space, squashed and crushed and survive. Freeze them and they will still resist and be able to survive. Take them out of the water and dry them and they will still survive. This little amazing creature is almost immortal. Scientist are trying to discover how these Tradigrades repair their DNA and believe due to the destruction of the planet because of humans, will exist and inhabitate the earth long after humans.

What I find Fascinating and I am no scientist. But imagine, what if scientists could discover the cellular process of these little creatures and be able to add genetics to our DNA to enable longer life spans.....take away the vampire scenario, but do these "Water Teddy Bears" hold the secret to immortality? The 'water teddy bear' Tradigrades have been found to have high copies of anti-oxidant ezymes and DNA- repair genes more than any other animal so when is has endured damage it is efficiently able to repair it DNA to normal functioning......amazing right. Tradigrades also have a protein that binds to it DNA reducing any damage from radiation and preventing the DNA from snapping.

This amazing little creature lives in water of all types even in the Artic and can only be seen with a microscope as they are only 1mm in length. They survive in wet leaf and plant matter all over the world and may even be found in your own surroundings.

They eat fluid from other plants and animal body walls like Rofitiers or other Tadigrades. Female Tardigrades lay eggs and the male releases sperm onto the eggs to allow new generations. Tapidgrades are able to reduce and increase their metabolism to suit many types of environments for survival. These water teddy bears are able to reduce their metabolism almost to a state of death. They curl into a little ball called a Tun and hibernate. They can appear frozen but are able to not be frozen at the core of their anatomy and tolerate a thawing cycle and function as normal. The life span of these tiny creatures have not be verified but have been reported as 3-4 days and some up to six months.
