Living in the Netherlands I can look far while sitting in a train. Fields, mills, flowers in bloom... A random tree here and there, but no forests. In The Netherlands you're either in a city or in farmland. There's no real in-between and we have no mountains. If you don't believe me come check it out.

I'll buy you a cup of coffee - or beer and bitterballen. It's good.

So, anyway, with that in mind you might understand better why I love trying to grasp a tree passing by my train window while passing through in a mountainous region. All these images - I literally almost can't see them with my eyes - I need to almost randomly click the camera button to freeze them in time so I can then look at what I (didn't) see.

If I hadn't clicked the shutter on this one - I would have looked at this, but never really seen it. Now I can stare at it. For as long as I live.

Maybe if I print it someone else will even look at it after I die.

That makes me feel good

I need to seriously start creating a project page for these shots. I think I published about 30 now but I lost count. I'm a sloppy administrator.
