The International Film Festival is happening in Rotterdam, as it does each year in ...

... January. I love the excitement and energy going through the city, people renting apartments or hotel rooms to go from movie to movie all day for ten days, uninterrupted. Of course, as I have the luxury of living in this magnificent city I can take a more laid back approach and watch a few movies with friends, without hurry or risk of overwhelming myself with too much input on one day. And so I did. The movie today was played in a theater normally meant for musical performances, never for movies, so I don’t come there as often - the building provides some magnificent views though. And so it happened I felt like a tourist in my own city for a bit :-)
