This week's theme is sunflowers. So I drew lots of them using Inkscape.
I decided to have a square drawing. So I edited Document Properties to 2000px×2000px.
Then, I painted the background with yellow-gold shade similar to sunflower petals.
Using the Circle , Bezier and Nodes Tools, I created this outline of a sunflower. I added imperfections to the circle and the petals to add that cartoonish feel to it.
Then, I copied lots of them throughout the drawing area. I also painted some flowers with different shades of yellow for variation.
Then, I added my signature! It was on the last minute when I decided to add more colors to my drawing for it to not be monotonous and boring.
