[ESP-ING] Corona para bebé hecha a mano - Handmade baby crown

Hola mis creativ@s de Hive... ya estoy de vuelta con mis manualidades amadas, porque ya saben que para mí es una catarsis del día a día, y además crear cosas que puedan alegrar a otros.

Hace poco la prima de mi esposo tuvo una bebé. Fue prematura y estuvo varios días en el hospital recuperándose, además luego de llegar a casa le pusieron oxigeno. Quise realizar algo para la bebé y que su mami estuviese contenta de tenerla ya en casita.

Hello my creativ@s from Hive... I'm back with my beloved crafts, because you know that for me it's a catharsis from day to day, and also creating things that can make others happy.

My husband's cousin recently had a baby. She was premature and she spent several days in the hospital recovering, and after arriving home she was put on oxygen. She wanted to do something for the baby and for her mom to be happy to have her at home.

Materiales:

Encaje
Tul
fieltro
pega blanca
Elástica de bebé
Aguja e hilo
Tijera
silicón frío.

Materials:

Lace
tulle
felt
white glue
baby elastic
Needle and thread
Scissor
cold sylicon.

Vamos a cortar nuestro encaje con la medida que vamos a utilizar, en esta ocasión usamos 23 cm, porque es para una bebé. La vamos a pegar cada punta en forma circular.

We are going to cut our lace with the measurement that we are going to use, this time we use 23 cm, because it is for a baby. We are going to glue each end in a circular shape.

Luego vamos a tomar un platico o cualquier superficie un poco honda, y vamos a agregar un poco de agua y pega blanca.
En esa mezcla vamos a colocar el encaje que ya pegamos de forma circular, lo vamos a empapar bastante en esa mezcla de agua con pega.

Then we are going to take a piece of plastic or any slightly deep surface, and we are going to add a little water and white glue.
In that mixture we are going to place the lace that we have already glued in a circular way, we are going to soak it quite a bit in that mixture of water with glue.

Ahora buscamos un vaso que calce con la medida de nuestro encaje y vamos a ponerlo en la parte de abajo. esto nos va a servir para darle forma a la corona y además, dejar que se escurra el resto de pega y agua y cuando seque quede con una bonita forma.

Now we look for a glass that fits the size of our lace and we are going to put it at the bottom. This will help us to shape the crown and also let the rest of the glue and water drain off and when it dries it will have a nice shape.

Mientras se seca ese paso que acabamos de hacer. Vamos a cortar nuestra elástica para ir adelantando el trabajo, porque se tarda un poco en secar el encaje, sobretodo si es grueso.
Nuestra elástica la vamos a cortar en 34 cm.
Acto seguido vamos a unir las puntas pegándolas con el silicón frío.

While that step we just did dries. We are going to cut our elastic to advance the work, because it takes a while to dry the lace, especially if it is thick.
We are going to cut our elastic in 34 cm.
Then we are going to join the ends by gluing them with the cold silicone.

Ahora vamos a cortar nuestro tul en 30 cm. Vamos a cocerlo en el borde con aguja e hilo, lo vamos a ir arruchando con nuestra manos.

Now we are going to cut our tulle in 30cm. We are going to cook it on the edge with a needle and thread, we are going to curl it with our hands.

Vamos a unir ambos extremos cosiendo la punta. Cortamos el restante del hilo y ahora proseguimos a unir todo nuestro trabajo.

We are going to join both ends by sewing the tip. We cut the rest of the thread and now we continue to join all our work.

Cuando ya nuestro encaje esta seco, vamos a pegarlo en un fieltro preferiblemente del mismo color del que venimos trabajando, para que se vea bien presentado.
Vamos a pegarlo con silicón frío para que quede bien pegado.

When our lace is dry, we are going to paste it on a felt preferably of the same color that we have been working on, so that it looks well presented.
We are going to paste it with cold silicone so that it is well glued.

Recortamos la parte de abajo del fieltro para que quede de base.

We cut the bottom part of the felt so that it is the base.

Cortamos un trocito de fieltro blanco de 2cm, lo vamos a pegar en el centro de nuestro tul.
Ponemos silicón frío en la parte de abajo de nuestra coronita de encaje y la vamos a pegar de ese trozo de fieltro y del tul.

We cut a 2cm piece of white felt, we are going to stick it in the center of our tulle.
We put cold silicone on the bottom of our lace crown and we are going to glue it from that piece of felt and the tulle.

Ya podemos ver el trabajo manual que hemos hecho, como cada detalle se va uniendo en un regalo muy bonito.

Tomamos nuestra elástica que ya esta pegada y la vamos a pegar justo al centro de nuestra corona.
Luego recortamos otro circulo de fieltro con el que vamos a sellar todo el trabajo, para que quede prolijo y no vaya a molestar a la bebé.

We can already see the manual work that we have done, how each detail is coming together in a very nice gift.
We take our elastic that is already glued and we are going to glue it right to the center of our crown.
Then we cut out another circle of felt with which we are going to seal all the work, so that it is neat and will not bother the baby.

Cada cosa que hacemos toma tiempo y además requiere de paciencia, pero miren que bonito trabajo y no se imaginan lo feliz de esa mamá que recibe un regalo que hiciste para su bebé con tus propias manos, eso no tiene precio.

Everything we do takes time and also requires patience, but look at what a beautiful job and you can't imagine how happy that mom is when she receives a gift you made for her baby with your own hands, that's priceless.
