Hola amigas y amigos de Jewelry. Esta es mi primera participación en la comunidad, me encantó esta iniciativa de crear un collar.

Mi nombre es Aruska, soy venezolana viviendo en Bogotá hace casi dos años, desde hace tiempo me dedico a la elaboración de accesorios para damas y niñas. Hoy realicé un collar con la técnica soutache con mostacillas cocidas.

Hice un pequeño bosquejo antes de fabricar para tener una idea de que iba a hacer.

Hello friends of Jewelry. This is my first participation in the community, I loved this initiative to create a necklace.

My name is Aruska, I'm Venezuelan and I've been living in Bogota for almost two years. I've been making accessories for ladies and girls for a long time. Today I made a necklace with the soutache technique with baked beads.

I did a little sketching before fabricating to get an idea of what I was going to do.

Let's go step by step!

Materiales:

Fieltro azul
strass tornasol
silicón frío
piedras planas
mostacillas
cordón soutache
aguja e hilo nylón
tijera

Materials:

Blue felt

litmus rhinestone

cold silicone

flat stones

beads

soutache cord

needle and nylon thread

scissors

Lo primero que haremos es pegar una piedra plana en nuestro fieltro. Usaré tres piedras, dos ovaladas y una perla plana en forma de gota.

Luego de que pego la piedra, vamos a rodearla hasta la mitad con cordón soutache aproximadamente 14cm cada cordón. Usaré azul claro y azul rey. Ambas van pegadas con silicón frío.

The first thing we will do is glue a flat stone on our felt. I will use three stones, two oval and one flat pearl in the shape of a drop.

After I glue the stone, we are going up to half to surround it with soutache cord approximately 14cm each cord. I will use light blue and royal blue. Both are glued with cold silicone.

Tomé hilo y aguja, y agregué mostacillas azul oscuro.
Luego las cocí de un lado a otro dentro del cordón soutache.

I took thread and needle, and added dark blue beads.
Then I cooked them back and forth inside the soutache cord.

Acto seguido con silicón frío pego los cordones hacía abajo, bordeando la fila de mostacillas.

Cuando los tenemos pegados vamos a recortar la pieza del fieltro con mucho cuidado.

Then with cold silicone I glue the laces down, bordering the row of beads.

When we have them glued we are going to cut the piece of felt very carefully.

Con los cordones sobrantes vamos a rodear un mostacillón azul de cada lado, pegándolo con silicón.

Cortaremos dos cordoncitos de 3cm cada uno y bordearemos otro mostacillón nuevamente que se pega con silicón frío y esto lo pegaremos en el medio de los dos anteriores.

With the leftover cords we are going to surround a blue bead on each side, gluing it with silicone.

We will cut two small cords of 3cm each and we will surround another bead again that is glued with cold silicone and we will glue it in the middle of the two previous ones.

De esa pieza vamos a realizar dos, así que repetí el procedimiento hasta tener dos.

Luego pegué del fieltro la perla plana en forma de gota. Al rededor de esta pegaremos tres cordones soutache de 14 cm, añadí esta vez un cordón blanco.

From that piece we are going to make two, so I repeated the procedure until I had two.

Then I glued the flat pearl in the shape of a drop. Around it we will glue three 14 cm soutache cords, this time I added a white cord.

Ahora al rededor del último cordón pegaremos strass tornasol y regresaremos hacía atrás todos los cordones pegándolos del strass.

Now around the last bead we will glue rhinestones around the last bead and we will go back all the beads gluing them to the rhinestone.

Recortamos del fieltro con mucho cuidado y vamos a rematar los cordones que están sobrando.

Nuevamente colocaremos dos mostacillones azules y pegaremos por detrás los hilos.

Carefully cut out the felt and finish off the excess cords.

Again we will place two blue beads and glue the threads on the back.

Ahora con hilo nylón y aguja vamos a realizar un borde de mostacillas al rededor del hilo blanco que queda al exterior de nuestra pieza.

Esto lo haremos de ambos lados, cerrando siempre con un nudito sencillo por detrás.

Now with nylon thread and needle we are going to make a border of beads around the white thread that remains on the outside of our piece.

We will do this on both sides, always closing with a simple knot at the back.

Nuevamente con aguja e hilo y por el medio de los dos mostacillones voy a atravesar dos mostacillas y una perlita, dejando la perlita en el medio.

Siempre que usamos hilos al terminar hacemos nudos para que no se desarmé nuestra elaboración.

I will take needle and thread and through the middle of the two beads I will pass two beads and a bead, leaving the bead in the middle.

When we use thread, we always tie knots at the end so that our elaboration doesn't fall apart.

Ya tenemos las tres piezas que harán nuestro collar.

Ahora las vamos a unir con mostacillas, aguja e hilo. Llevándolo de un extremó a otro y cerrando con nudo sencillo en la parte trasera.

We already have the three pieces that will make our necklace.

Now we are going to join them with beads, needle and thread. Taking it from one end to the other and closing it with a simple knot at the back.

Ya podemos ver lo bonita de esta pieza toda junta. Una elaboración delicada con un proceso largo pero que revela lo bello de un trabajo hecho a mano.

Agregaré 25 cm de cada lado del collar para que podamos usarlo ajustando la medida.

Pero primero vamos a marcar nuestras piezas del fieltro, esto nos servirá para sellar la parte posterior y que nos quedé perfecto nuestro acabado.

We can already see how beautiful this piece is all together. A delicate workmanship with a long process but that reveals the beauty of a handmade work.

I will add 25 cm on each side of the necklace so that we can use it by adjusting the size.

But first we are going to mark our felt pieces, this will help us to seal the back of the necklace so that we get a perfect finish.

Así ya terminé el collar, es importante terminar tapando todas la elaboración por la parte de atrás, para tener una mejor presentación y sea cómodo para usarlo.

So I finished the necklace, it is important to finish covering all the elaboration on the back, to have a better presentation and to be comfortable to wear it.

Espero este paso a paso te motive a crear. Lo hice con mucho amor, es realmente de las cosas que más disfruto hacer en mi día a día.

El collar lo puedes usar también como choker.
