Lately, I have not been doing much gaming because of other life activities. Recently, I had to take care of myself, nothing too serious, thankfully just some good medication, and I guess it could be as a result of stress from doing too much. But that is in the past now.
I got busy today with the continuation of my side missions, as it happens to be Friday, and you know the usual. It is going to be a gaming weekend. I took an early close from work as there was not much to do for me once the designs from the content calendar were complete.
It is more of a mission to go hunting for more banners that signify the presence of sashimono, I guess, as I am not 100% sure. But these banners are placed in the enemy camp, and I have to recover them. If there is one thing I am glad about is the fact that I do not have to go all stealth mode on the enemy just to conceal my movement because I am not the best at that. I prefer right off attack in the face, where you can see your attacker and your attacker can see you but when I see I am outnumbered, then I go all ghost.
Anyway, there was a strange encounter during one of my missions to the village of Iki, but this time it was a hunt for Sarki's banner and not Sashimono's banner. The lady whom I encountered kept telling me the sarki banners in my possession were not enough for me to complete the task. But here is the strange thing. There is no clue how I could get the last one.
I guess I am stuck on this mission, looking for the last Sarki Banner. Nonetheless, there are still more sashimono banners to locate as well. Now it even itches my tongue when I say this: the side missions are proving to be more interesting than the actual story. Please do not tell a gamer I said. As much as I do not want it to be true, there are more action and less worrying about getting the hostage killed. Now I could just join right in front of the army of Mongols and take them all head-on, aura for aura.
It looks like I have found what will keep me busy this week, pending the next HiveChess tournament and my Sunday rento tournament, that is, if I do not forget again like I have been doing in the past.
