In this post, are you a fan of pirate games, something more like Pirates of the Caribbean, where your character gets to be something like Jack Sparrow? Well, this is what this game has to offer.
It's a new game from the Blacktail developer, Parasight. Frankly, I don't know if the developers are Blacktail or Parasight. Who cares, as long as the game is good and fun to play.
Here is the new intrigue that grabbed my attention in the game: the character you will be using to play the game is a headless pirate out to seek revenge.
The character is Davy Jones who comes back from the afterlife seeking revenge on those who robbed betrayed, beheaded, and killed him, but he does not do this alone, he goes along with his ally, piloting ally, which happens to be his boat that is filled up with guns, cannons, artillery and other kinds of weapon.
I have to add that if you are a lover of pirate movies or fiction like me, then this game is for you. Although the announcement date has not been released, you can do what I have done. I added the game to my wishlist on stream, therefore, when it gets released, I will get an automated notification, then I download it on stream or if it's available on the PlayStation store, I download it immediately.
After I watched the trailer, I remembered a couple of scenes from Pirates of Caribbean, where Jack Sparrow was always on the run from the trouble he had caused. Honestly, I feel the game character, Davy Jones could be based on Jack Sparrow but this time it is a Jack without a head.
But after a couple of minutes, read more and check out videos on the game, I suspect that Davy Jones could actually be based on Davy Jones, the octopus man in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, played by Bill Nighy.
Although I do not see the resemblance between this octopus man and the game character. Either ways, let's see how it plays out when the game is available. Even with the headless character, there has to be more to the game storyline.
