Ah man, insomnia is a tricky one to navigate. I’ve dealt with it since my age was in the single digits, and I’ve tried it all.
My best advice is tire yourself out, physically. It’s almost impossible to force your mind to rest, but at least for me, a tired body will help tire the mind once you’ve finally laid down. If you’re having trouble initially falling asleep, try distracting yourself from the intent by doing something like reading or listening to a podcast. A hot shower and white noise can also be your friend.
Unfortunately, none of those will solve the problem, but I’ve found they help. Avoid medications unless absolutely necessary. Hope you find some rest!
