The current "China" is a communist state, a sociocultural matrix originating from the Western philosophy of Marxism. In essence, "China" is ruled by foreign occupiers no different from the Mongols or the Manchus. In fact, the Manchu dominated Qing was more Chinese than the current Han dominated CCP.

The so-called "Chinese" of the modern era cannot even read their own history books, since they use that bastardised nonsense logograph invented by the peasant muck of the CCP, rather than the Qin script. The CCP drones fail to preserve any historical landmarks from the Great Wall to the local temples; in another generation, nothing of that ancient civilisation called China will remain on the CCP land.

Nippon is against a communist state, not against "China." To refer to the CCP occupied land as "China" is to insult the historical sociocultural entity that was the center of Asian cultural universe. The current "China" is has more cultural similarity with the USSR than with any Asian nations past or present.

Contrary to popular conception of Nippon by all of Asia as a continuation of Imperial Japan in sociopolitical makeup, the current civilian government of Nippon is vastly different from its previous incarnation. Nippon was rebuilt by the US following her defeat as a political antithesis of Imperial Japan. Being under the US nuclear umbrella, much like S. Korea, allows Nippon to develop her economy without the burden of significant military expenditure. Nippon has no wish to "confront" anyone; the anti-Japan rhetoric is but a convenient political tool of Asian states to distract from internal socioeconomic and sociopolitical policy failures, much like anti-Jew rhetoric serves for the Arabs.
