The problem is not partisan bickering or ignorant drones. The problem is not even sporadic violence between paramilitary groups. The fundamental problem is the lack of government authority in maintaining stable and peaceful urban environments via effective enforcement. There is no accountability present in any of the so-called elected officials, since inaction by cowardice garners no specific blame, while any decision to enforce civil laws brings the dreaded consequence of responsibility.

Representative government only allows for populist whores with no other skill than garnering popularity and savvy media relations to ascend to positions of authority. Western sociopolitical system has perfected a matrix, in which responsibility is diluted across its vast bureaucracy, resulting from fragmented authority - the so-called "division of powers." While the streets burn, the bureaucrats shift paperwork amongst themselves in desperate attempts to alleviate any accountability. Democracy is the worst form of government.
