Everyone hope you all are doing fine. My days are going pretty well. Today I will share with you about a tour that I have enjoyed couple of weeks earlier.
So lets roll into it.
I have heard that Shada Pathor is Kashmir of Bangladesh. I have never been to Kashmir so I couldn’t compare. We have been planning to go somewhere for a long time. So we decided to go to Sylhet.
There were 5 of us. I went to buy train tickets on September 30. I went a week ago and got Shovon chair. If you can't find a Shovon chair at the counter, you can get one online. Our train leaves at 9:02 pm on the 8th. We got on the train on time. We were in Sylhet at 4:35. I sat on the platform for a while and went out to have breakfast. Pansi Restaurant is a short walk from the station. We had khichuri and eggs for breakfast there. After breakfast we went to Keen Bridge.
From there we went to Lakkatura Tea Garden by CNG. They took 50 taka per person to enter the tea garden. We have to take a guide or we can't enter without a guide. After touring the tea garden, rubber garden, stadium, we went to Amber Khana again by CNG.
You will get CNG, tourist bus, BRTC from Amberkhana to go to Bholaganj. I suggest to go by BRTC. Every 1 hour the bus leaves for Bholaganj. It takes about 1 hour to go to Bholaganj. If there is a regret of not being able to go to the Mithamoin, it will also be fulfilled.
While sitting in front of the double-decker bus, you will see the mountains of Meghalaya through white clouds. They will continue to give cataracts. There are six launches to go from Bholaganj to Shada Pathor.
There are six launches to go from Bholaganj to white stone which have to be reserved. 800 taka fixed. We found another 3 people to go to the Shada Pathor. We rented a trawler for 8 people. One thing to keep in mind when renting a trawler is that you can stay for 2 hours. You can increase the time by talking to the trawler driver.
The bluish clear cool water of the river will satisfy your heart. You can see the sand at the bottom of the river. The Shada Pathor is adorned with the boundless beauty of nature. The environment is very beautiful. On one side there is big sky-shaded hills of Meghalaya and on the other is the flat Bangladesh.
There are designated places for dumping garbage. The bag, mobiles everything can be kept there. For this you have to pay 20 taka only. We reached the destination at 11 o'clock. After staying in the water for 2 hours, I hope everyone's mind will be filled. But be careful the rocks under the water are very slippery. After bathing we returned to Amber Khana.
There are some shops in Bholaganj and Shada Pathor where Indian products are available. You can buy them if you want. We returned to Amber Khana and have lunch with chicken biryani.
Then we went to the Majhar of Hazrat Shahjalal (ra) in Amber Khana. Asr prayers are offered there. Salman Shah, General Ataul Gani Osmani and other eminent persons grave are in the graveyard of the Majhar.
At the end of the day we had a lot of time which we spent on the banks of Mazar and Surma river. I bought a return train ticket from Dhaka. I go to Pansi to eat again at night. From there we left for the station. The train starts at 11 pm for Dhaka.
Even if it is in a specific place for dumping dirt on Shada Pathar.
Shada Pathar is really a place of natural beauty. There is specific places for dumping dirt on Shada Pathar. But People are throwing wastes everywhere. It makes me feel very bad. This is a very heinous act. So don’t through your garbage here and there if you visit.
I hope you all enjoyed the tour. I will come up with something new soon. Till then enjoy.
