Masum Billah, driver of the killer bus, was awarded a seven-day remand in the killing of two students of Shaheed Ramizuddin Cantonment College on the Airport Road. Yesterday police told the court that four activists of Nur Paribahan were arrested but the killer driver was not arrested.
Although RAB's assertion was made, they arrested the main killer Masum Billah. A police source said that RAB handed four people to them. The original one has not yet been handed over.
However, Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch Masum Billah was produced before the court today and asked for 7-day remand. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court granted it.
The remand application said that Masum Billah said that he intentionally lifted the bus on those two students. He needs to be remanded to identify who is involved with him.
On 29th July, a bus was parked on the streets after going to the trio of Noor Paribahan in Jabal on the road opposite the Zillur Rahman flyover on the opposite side of the Hotel Radisson at the capital.
