The European Court of Justice, located in Luxembourg, warns Poland's conservative government, focusing on reducing the age of judges. The Polish government has been taking steps for some time with Brussels and Warsaw.
There is a storm of protest from various levels of the society, including opposition parties in the country, to increase the age of judges of the Supreme Court judges from 65 to 65 years. Many believe that the conservative government of Poland has taken this decision to reduce the legal difficulty in making future arbitrary decisions in the country. Due to this age limit, 27 Supreme Court judges were forced to retire together. Only with the consent of the President of Poland Andreas Duder, some of them will remain as judges.
