Hello everyone here, hope you are doing very fine, and that you are faring well, in your different endeavors.
It's been a while I came here, due to some stuffs I was handling, but I trust that I will better.
So today something came strongly into my mind, and I would like everyone here to pounder about it, and also make sure that we guard against it.
It is now a cliche to say that the wages of sin is dead, because it has been over said again and again, so people do not really talk about it.
But I would like us to look at it this way.
God's mercy never ends, and that is why he made the laws. He made those laws so as to show us our inadequacy.
He really knew that we will not be able to keep his laws, so he made them so that, when we fall short we will run back to him.
Some of us, we do not understand this and that is why we normally feel guilty and tend not to go back to God for mercy.
But despite the mercies of God that are always new every moment, sin as been programmed to destroy one's life.
If you sin against God, he will forgive and he will make you his child again, but the consequences are always there to face.
Drawing my references from the scriptures.
Abraham went to Gazar, to sojourned there, and the king of Gezar looked at his wife Sarah, because she was beautiful.
So for Abraham to be safe and not die, he lied that Sarah was his sister and his wife.
If not God, that went to king to confront him, in the night to return his wife.
This happened in chapter twenty.
God forgave him, but the same mistake ran in his blood, till chapter twenty six, when Issac did the Sam mistake.
Sine can be forgiven, but it the grace of God to survive it scars.
It is very obvious that God would have mercy on us when we sin, but nature would not forgive us.
Whenever you want talk to someone, about the same sin we committed, the scars will not allow us said it bo.
So I would ouch us to guard against any sin or weight that can easily beset us.
And even if you suffer any scar, because you sin just know that the love of God is overall, and what he says about you stands, and that alone stands.
So be strong, and rejoice because the blood of Jesus is supreme. Remember not the past things. Old things are past away, and behold everything has become new and I mean very new.
