Sometimes what would change your life may be something you did not even think of, or it may be something you did not even regard as very important. When I started writing in my secondary school days, I remember that I did not really mean what I was doing; I was just writing because I wanted to keep myself busy. But at some point, I started becoming very serious about writing songs and poems too. I would just write a piece, then take it to my teachers, and they would just verify it and make necessary corrections. I did that so many times, and I was always happy about writing. I forgot about writing for so many years until a few years ago, when I was in need of something I could earn from. I reached out to my cousin, and then he recommended that I should start writing on the Hive blockchain so that I could earn from it. I was really happy that I would not just earn, but I will be earning from something I love doing. As I started writing on the Hive blockchain, I saw opportunities to earn and also to develop my writing skills too, because on the Hive blockchain I have the opportunity to read other content so as to learn how to do better. This writing skill has changed my life; now I don't have to depend on anyone to feed me, but I can actually feed myself and do other stuff I want to do. Writing has not just helped me earn, but it has also sharpened my mind because I have to write, and then I have to research so as to give out correct information, so that really helps me to grow from one stage to another. Because of the search for knowledge on how to sharpen my writing skills, I have met a lot of writers who have gone ahead of me in writing, and this is what I do not take for granted. I am so happy that I have found myself, and I am earning from it too. I am grateful for knowledge, for growth and for quality relationships brought to me by the skill I've found.
