Hello students of Hive, hope that you are doing well. Shout out to all the final-year students here.
So much joy is bubbling in my heart as write this.
I gained admission into the university, in 2018 but I started school in 2019 because of the industrial strike that we had in our country.
After high school, I wanted to start school immediately as I wanted to finish on time too.
During those times itimetimesol, my classmates and I would discuss how we wanted to start school very early and finish early. We would tell ourselves that we will not allow anything to stop us from succeeding academically. We would read and study so well, to pass out entrance exams into the university.
So when I started school, I was so serious and wanted to do very well, I would read and study my books and also do my assignment, and submit them on time. I never allow myself to become less than a shortcoming on anything, because I wanted to do well.
I had a cordial relationship with lecturers because my sister told me to do so.
I became very happy that I was in school.
One day I was doing an assignment, then I decided to check some stuff on my mobile phone, as I opened the phone I saw a disheartening message, that the Academic union of our country was going on strike, I was so sad.
We stayed in the house for nine months, coupled with the Covid holiday, and that is how I found hive.
After the nine months strike, we went back to school and I lost interest in school. I summed up courage to write the exams that awaited uh s after the strike. Every student was not too sure about passing the exams, but I managed to pass because I needed to.
We also went on an eight months strike too, and the strike also crippled our zeal for education.
On entering my final year, I am so happy that, there will be no strike, as I am going to finish in less than two weeks.
