[ENG/ESP] Kitten Multipurpose Box.~Caja Multiusos de Gatito. 🐈😊

Good Tuesday creative people of #HiveDiy!!! I hope you are all very well, I return to present a job after many days of absence for work reasons so to relax a bit I put my hands in the dough. Today I bring you a kitty-themed multipurpose box.

Buen martes gente creativa de #HiveDiy!!! Espero estén todos muy bien, vuelvo a presentar un trabajo después de muchos días de ausencia por cuestiones laborales así que para relajar un poco puse las manos en la masa. Hoy les traigo una caja multiusos con temática de gatito.

Cut a piece of Styrofoam the same size as the lid of the box. Pierce a square in the center.

Cortar un trozo de telgopor del mismo tamaño de la tapa de la caja. Calar en el centro un cuadrado.

Paint the box with acrylic (paint once, let dry and paint again). Put the lid on and with a pencil mark the entire diameter as far as it goes.
Put the piece of Styrofoam above the lid and fix with paper tape.

Pintar la caja con acrílico (pintar una vez, dejar secar y volver a pintar). Poner la tapa y con un lápiz marcar en todo el diámetro hasta donde llega.
Poner el trozo de telgopor arriba de la tapa y fijar con cinta de papel.

Stretch gray dough in a rectangular shape, cut straight lengthwise and widthwise. Put vinyl glue and cover two sides of the box from where we made the mark down. Remove the excess.

Estirar masa color gris en forma rectangular, cortar recto a lo largo y a lo ancho. Poner cola vinilica y cubrir dos lados de la caja desde donde hicimos la marca hacia abajo. Quitar el excedente.

Repeat the step of stretching porcelain and adding a bit of another color that is the closest thing to brick. Cover the remaining two sides. With some stake make straight lines horizontally and between them small vertical lines to simulate the bricks.

Repetir el paso de estirar porcelana y agregar un pedacito de otro color que sea lo más parecido al ladrillo. Cubrir los dos lados restantes. Con alguna esteca hacer líneas rectas en forma horizontal y entre ellas pequeñas líneas verticales para simular los ladrillos.

Stretch gray cold porcelain again, cover the lid leaving the hole visible, remove the excess and texture with the brush.

Volver a estirar porcelana fría color gris, cubrir la tapa dejando que se note el hueco,quitar el excedente y texturar con el cepillo.

For the body, make a ball, give it a pear shape and flatten a little at the base.
For the tail make a ball, stretch leaving a larger end and curve a little.

Para el cuerpo hacer una bolita, dar forma de pera y aplanar un poco en la base.
Para la cola hacer una bolita, estirar dejando un extremo más grande y curvar un poco.

For the head, make a ball a little smaller than the Styrofoam sphere, insert, close giving a pear shape, where the sphere ends, mark the separation of the forehead and the face. Place the eyes using the black pearls and with dough of another color make a small oval for the nose.

Para la cabeza hacer una bolita un poco más pequeña que la esfera de telgopor, introducir, cerrar dando forma de pera, en donde termina la esfera marcar la separación de la frente y la cara. Colocar los ojos utilizando las perlas negras y con masa de otro color hacer un pequeño óvalo para la nariz.

For the arms, make two equal balls, stretch a little and stretch leaving a quarter for the hand and three quarters for the arm. Mark the fingers and round. Bend at the elbow.
For the ears, make two equal balls, form a drop, flatten, hollow out and remove a small portion at the bottom.

Para los brazos hacer dos bolitas iguales, estirar un poco y estirar dejando un cuarto para la mano y tres cuartos para el brazo. Marcar los dedos y redondear. Doblar a la altura del codo.
Para las orejas hacer dos bolitas iguales, dar forma de gota, aplanar, ahuecar y quitar una pequeña porción en la parte inferior.

To finish, locate the pieces and unite with vinyl glue. I added the whiskers with pieces of tanza (that was my personal touch as the original doesn't have). Make the stripes with makeup and paint the cheeks.
I used pieces of textured green dough with the brush to simulate moss and put makeup in the deepest parts of the whole work.
I hope as always that they can do it and enjoy the process.

Para finalizar ubicar las piezas y unir con cola vinilica. Le agregué los bigotes con trozos de tanza (ese fue mi toque personal ya que el original no tiene). Hacer las rayas con maquillaje y pintar los cachetes.
Usé trozos de masa verde texturada con el cepillo para simular musgo y puse maquillaje en las partes más profundas de todo el trabajo.
Espero como siempre que lo puedan hacer y disfruten el proceso.
