Splinterlands Tower Defence Spell Contest!
It appears that there is a change in the theme of the art contest conducted by Splinterlands this week. So a logo-like design should be created for one of their new spells namely 'Heart Giver'. I saw the comments section of the announcement post filled with beautiful designs for this challenge. I was hesitant at first to participate in this event because of 2 things. One is my phone lags like a snail if I use canvas size above 2k and the contest is asking the participants to submit their entry in 3k. The other thing is that my style is a mix of anime and other forms of art so I wasn't really sure if they are looking for a style like mine. The official design looks very different from mine haha.
Regardless, it was my curiosity that made me participate in this contest. I wanted to know if I can make a spell icon in 3K and to my luck I can since the phone wasn't lagging much because there weren't many art elements in there since it's a small design and this is what I came up with.
MY DESIGN
I started with something small like a hand holding a heart. Most of the hand gestures were already used by some of my fellow artists in there so I wanted my base design to be unique at least haha.
