Coincidentally, I was talking about this game with my brother this week.
The rigid rules by which the samurai lived allowed them to function like an efficient and precise machine, defending their lords and their nation.
Unfortunately, the rules escalated in importance, to the absurd point where rigid rules became more important than everything else.
They would have lost the lives of their people and the samurai themselves due to their lack of flexibility; they were incapable of adapting to the changing times and the new tactics of their enemies.
It's an excellent game; I hope you enjoy it.
