I really like the story behind Second Desk Consulting. It makes the idea feel much more human: instead of starting with a business model, it started with a real problem that needed solving.

I think that is often where the best ideas come from. When you understand how difficult it is to manage everything alone, creating a solution that gives other people back some of their time becomes genuinely valuable.
