A Downvote and a Reaction

A downvote and a reaction.

My current karma on Ecency still limits my voting power, so my downvote was not personal.

The author, @fonestreet replied sarcastically, “thanks for the downvote,” and afterward I received downvotes on my latest posts.

I simply replied that my downvote was due to my current karma and that there was no need to downvote my posts because of it.

I’m sharing the situation because I believe votes should be based on content, not used as a way to retaliate against another user.
