Hello to all the great people on #hive and a warm hug to the #music community! It's awesome to stop by again to chat about the music that moves us. Today I want to remember an artist who simply took over the entire world back in the 80s: the unforgettable Michael Jackson.

Hablar de esa década es recordar una época dorada donde la televisión y la música se unieron para siempre. Michael no solo cantaba como los dioses y se movía de una forma que parecía de otro planeta, sino que además cambió para siempre la manera de hacer videos musicales. Cada vez que iba a estrenar un trabajo nuevo, las calles se quedaban solas porque todo el mundo estaba pegado al televisor esperando ver con qué saldría esta vez.

Talking about that decade means remembering a golden era where TV and music came together forever. Michael didn't just sing like an angel and move in ways that seemed out of this world, he also changed the way music videos were made forever. Every time he was about to release new work, the streets would empty out because everyone was glued to their TV screens waiting to see what he would come up with next.

Esta canción es una verdadera locura. Cuando salió el video en 1983, parecía más una película corta de terror que un simple clip de música. Ver a Michael transformarse en zombi y liderar esa coreografía en la calle con los monstruos bailando al mismo tiempo marcó un antes y un después. Recuerdo que todo el mundo quería aprenderse los pasos de memoria para bailarlo en las fiestas.

This song is absolute madness. When the video came out in 1983, it felt more like a short horror movie than a regular music video. Seeing Michael turn into a zombie and lead that choreography in the street with monsters dancing in sync was a complete game changer. I remember everyone wanting to learn the steps by heart to dance to it at parties.

Esta fue la canción que terminó de consagrarlo como una estrella gigante. El video es inolvidable con la famosa escena donde las baldosas de la calle se van iluminando a medida que él camina por la ciudad. Además, fue el tema con el que mostró por primera vez en televisión su famoso paso del caminante de la luna, dejando a todo el mundo con la boca abierta.

This was the song that truly solidified him as a giant superstar. The video is unforgettable with that famous scene where the street tiles light up one by one as he walks through the city. Also, this was the song where he debuted his famous moonwalk on TV for the first time, leaving the entire world speechless.
