After the Yukon Gold Potatoes flowered we waited a few weeks, and then went after the spuds underneath the earth. For every cutting I planted I got 2-3 back. I wear my actioncam and go through my raised garden bed and pull up the Potatoes and then place them in a bucket that Lovely Logic is holding. Shes a great help pulling off the spuds and holding the ever growing basket of Potatoes. Afterwards I take the left over Potato stalks and lay them over the beds to break down back into the ground and help with future spud growth.
I plan on keeping Potatoes that form eyes and save them for our spring/summer/fall growing season.
