It´s 2 pm on the 4th of January here in Thailand which means - happy belated birthday Bitcoin 🍾 !

9 years ago block 0 was mined. This was the beginning of something that had the potential to change the world. I always got the question how I got into crypto especially because I am a young woman, I do not look like I am into technical stuff and well... all these prejudices. To be honest, @sirwinchester first brought me into the crypto world 7 years ago. He started mining and investing in the early days and told me about Bitcoin in 2011. I still remember the price when it hit $11. Isn´t that insane? With the help of @sirwinchester I brought my parents into the business as well. I invested some of my pocket money these days because I already saw the potential of Bitcoin and look where we are just 7 years later. We have a market cap of over $760 billion dollars and hit the 20k mark for Bitcoin last year...

Since then I kept my interests on trading and learning how to program. August 2016 changed my life completely. I was already into crypto, created my own businesses and so on. But when Sir Winchester first told me about Steemit, my whole life changed into crypto. I had no interests in the "real" world anymore. I started to mine Steem by creating content and met so many beautiful souls who are also into to crypto business.This year was really a blessing and it turned out to become my newest passion as well.

Steemit also hit the MILLION transaction per day just 16 days ago

I dont know what´s going on but crypto is growing so fast that even I can not catch up and understand what´s happening. Steemit just hit the million transactions PER DAY!

Steem Price hit almost $8 dollars and the Steem Dollars are constantly at around $8-10. What a crazy start for 2018!!

I am still in Thailand which is a big blessing for me. I celebrated New Year´s Eve and my birthday on the beautiful Island called Phuket and the weather here just makes me smile every day! No cloudy, rainy days anymore. Just sunshine and smile on peoples faces. I love it! I have my second family with me which makes it even more perfect!
