After we had a great reunion and get-together on day one we had to get up early next morning to get to the real essence of the meetup... everything about hive and our ecosystem.
reiseamateur@reiseamateur organized a fantastic location, and also recruited his family to get all the hospitality work done. tibfox@tibfox on the other hand was a one man tech and moderation crew, handling everything from the beamer to the livestream and the moderation of the event...
Big shout out to you guys again and to valueplan@valueplan for giving us the opportunity to have this great meeting.

We started with the typical "solid" presentation from ecency@ecency .. its just amazing that the team is participating at literally every hive event out there and spreading the hive.. ;-)
In between we had a sneak virtual appearance of roelandp@roelandp revealing hivefest@hivefest 2025 location, followed by the full force of the worldmappin@worldmappin team that showed up with four people.
After that we got an introduction to apis.hive@apis.hive and its unique gamified features to incentivize new hivians.
But the biggest surprise for me was clearly minigunner@minigunner s presentation and real live demo of hivedebit@hivedebit and all the possibilities you have by encoding an NFC card as your key to the hive universe...
What's even more intriguing is what he did not (want to) tell us, but would be technically possible..... I feel there is a real chance of a hive to fiat debit card happening..

In between I was able to purchase my first piece of NFT art from nftshowroom@nftshowroom

I could not decide wich on of the two left copies I should buy... so I bought both.. ;-)
The fantastic thing is, that I also got the print of the art work in a pretty frame to take it home and pin it to my wall.

The main highlight of day two was clearly the cleanplanet@cleanplanet challenge, which is also heavily supported by the solarisfuture@solarisfuture project with upvotes. Also Austria in general and Graz specifically is very clean, it was amazing (or better to say awful) how much garbage the teams collected. Two hiveans clearly stood out: ninaeatshere@ninaeatshere who seems to have a radar and xray for every little piece of garbage left and tinabrezpike@tinabrezpike who was totally devoted to the task being all over the place.

Subsequently it is obvious that the teams of the two ladies were competing for the first place... the possible brutal clash for first place could be prevented by declaring both teams as winners. Well deserved! (and very clever by judge tibfox@tibfox ;-) )

So I will leave Graz with a strong feeling about the hive eco-system and a urgent desire to plan my trip to hivefest@hivefest 10 in Malaysia. I fear that it will be loaded with important announcements from blocktrades@blocktrades, vaultec@vaultec and all the other stars that I clearly do not want to miss out on.

Graz, I will miss you and your faboulus ice cream!
