Hi HIVE COMMUNITY. Hope you all are doing great. Today I would be sharing my experience as well as some of the pictures from my recent trek to one of the longest glaciers in the world. The GANGOTRI glacier.🏔
I along with some of my friends as well as some professional hikers went trekking to the GANGOTRI glacier. It was one of the most adventurous and mesmerizing experiences of my life. There are snow-capped mountains all along the trekking route. We trekked for 3 days and the one-word description for the entire journey would just be AWESOME🤩.
GANGOTRI glacier is the longest glacier (20 miles) in HIMALAYAS and it is located in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. It is the primary source of the Ganges- the largest river in India.
If you are a globetrotter and a lover of mountains, then you should definitely consider the Gangotri glacier for traveling and hiking.
