Hi HIVERS馃槃! Today I am going to share some pictures of the 103-YEAR-OLD BRIDGE near my home that I visited during my morning walk today. So let's go.馃殌
To start with, I live in the state of HIMACHAL PRADESH which is famous for snow capped-mountains and tourist destinations such as MANALI, KULLU, and SHIMLA.
The major source of income in our state is agriculture, horticulture, and tourism.
The place is covered in snowy mountains and lush green fields. A perfect place for nature lovers. We are to talk about and explore the 103-YEAR-OLD BRIDGE near my home so let's go.
The bridge was built in 1918 when INDIA was a colony of the BRITISH. That's why the bridge is so magnificent and still standing馃槄. The bridge connects the mainland to another mountain. Beneath the bridge, flows the beautiful and mighty Beas river which originates in the state itself. The bridge is a marvel of engineering, yet of pale beauty by comparison to the Beas river.
The place is beautiful and magnificent in itself and a perfect place for nature lovers. The river is a keeper of deepest poetry and whispers sweet notes in cascading water-strings. It flows through the farmlands in earnest beauty moving into the steady rising light with its great and gliding dame.
The river and the bridge are just 2 km away from my home and whenever I need some me-time, I come by the river for refreshing my mind and reenergizing my body.
