Happy Independence to all my fellow Indians. Today is a really proud moment for us as it's our 72th Independence Day.
Today our prime minister Modi announced that India will send astronaut to space by the year 2022 on 75th anniversary of freedom. Saying "India has always advanced in space science but we have decided that by 2022 when India completes 75 years of Independence, or before that, a son or daughter of India will go to space with a tricolor in their hands,"

This mission is named 'Gaganyaan', it will be a biggest challenge for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to full fill this nation's dream with a time limit of 5 years from now. ISRO already booked his name for launching 68 satellites in a single rocket. Astronauts will be called as "Vyomnauts" since "Vyom" in Sanskrit means space. ISRO already acheived re-entry satellite technology, where satellite can be bring down to earth after it's lifespan. India also going to launch biggest rocket using Mark 3, Geosynchronous Satellite in upcoming years.
After prime minister's announcement, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Dr K Sivan, said "very, very tight schedule but ISRO will do it by 2022."
This will be a very proud moment for Indian and it will lead India one step ahead in space research for mankind. On Independence day, I wish my country flag always fly high with pride.
