It really doesn't matter if Lara and her husband were happy about the child or not, they made a decision to keep the child when they had an option. They are the masters of their emotions.
I agree that we just can't sit in the judgement seat about the lives of others. Honestly are we perfect in every decision we make? No, not me.
It's better not to get into any form of judgement.
