A city without trees must be a very sad place to live, fortunately in all the places where I have lived, these beings that provide us with oxygen and beauty, have been present to a lesser or greater extent.
In this series of photos that I captured, I show you some urban trees that made me turn my eyes. All of them are lush because of the rains, this year the season was extended and consequently the greenery too.
Among those I could identify are the Rosy Trumpet Tree, the Flamboyant, the Chaguaramo (Roystonea oleracea), the Palm, Mango and the Baniano or Bengal Fig (Ficus benghalensis).
No city should do without trees, more and more should be planted to bring freshness to the environment, counteract climate change and brighten our eyes.
Una ciudad sin árboles debe ser un lugar muy triste para vivir, afortunadamente en todos los sitios donde he vivido, estos seres que nos brindan oxígeno y belleza, han estado presentes en menor o mayor medida.
En esta serie de fotos que capturé por ahí, les muestro algunos árboles urbanos que me hicieron voltear la mirada. Todos están frondosos por las lluvias, este año la temporada se extendió y en consecuencia el verdor también.
Entre los que pude identificar están el Apamate, el Flamboyán, el Chaguaramo, la Palmera, el Mango y el Baniano o Higuera de Bengala (Ficus benghalensis).
Ninguna ciudad debería prescindir de los árboles, cada vez se deben sembrar más para que haya más frescura en el ambiente, contrarrestar el cambio climático y alegrar nuestras pupilas.
