The synthetic oils were created to handle extreme cold weather to prevent the oil from gelling. They also have the advantage of handling higher temperatures and are very slippery. Unless you live in the arctic, your engine is designed to operate just fine on the conventional oils. Conventional oils are far better than when I was a kid. They are refined better and have additives and friction modifiers that make the oil competitive with synthetics. There is really no need to run a synthetic on a non-racing motor. It is really up to you if you want to spend the extra money on it.

Steemit selling is not what is dropping the price. They are focusing their energies on efforts that will not improve price. Right now, that is not the right move. I expect price to continue to fall.
