Starting Over with Purpose

If I could hit a reset button on my creativity, I wouldn't go back and erase anything.

I'd go back and reimagine.

Because every cringey sketch, every half-finished poem, every weird idea I kept buried in a notebook... they were all sparks. Little messy sparks that taught me something.

But here I am now, years later, with new eyes and a different fire.

So what would my reboot look like?

I'd start with the mess. I’d pull out the forgotten characters I sketched years ago—those wild, powerful women, part ogre and part goddess—and give them full stories this time. I'd give them colors, names, origins, purpose. Not just pages in a notebook, but worlds to live in.

I’d draw boldly again. Not perfectly. Just loudly. I’d let the lines be shaky and the colors overflow, because that’s where the freedom is.

I’d revisit old poems I once thought were “too much” and write them anyway. This time, I’d trust my voice, even when it shakes. Especially when it shakes.

Because my creative reboot isn’t about perfection.

It’s about giving myself permission.

To return. To revive. To reignite.

This is me hitting refresh—without shame, without fear, and without needing anyone’s approval. Just mine.
