Amazing Fall Colors

The work has just begun.
I harvested the Oregon Berry today. Since I have no other place to cure them, they're hanging in my living-room. I hung sheets around them to block out as much light as possible and still allow airflow.

Purps-a-Poppin
My mouth is watering. It's so close I can taste it. Sept 20th, 23rd and 25th are my approximate harvest dates (weather permitting). Last night it dropped to 32F in the cold frame. It was at least 28F outside.

We caught a spot of good weather this week. I didn't even have to lower the sides of the cold frame. I'm real cautious about night time temps around here. If the weather app says 40F plan on 25F. This

Yes, just 2-3 weeks... until I get to wait for the harvest to cure, ...then trim, ...then finally smoke. I know, poor me. Still, It's a lot of work and I'm lazy. It's been about a week since my last update.
