Cheap accommodation caught my attention during a visit to Banda Aceh City. Cheap words has a lot of interesting things to review. One of them is whether the place is worth visiting or is it just a stopover that you no longer want to visit.
Saving makes us as humans consider many things. Including for lodging matters when we are traveling in other people's cities. Likewise with what I do.
While in Banda Aceh City, I managed to get two cheap lodgings of IDR 100,000-120,000. around $7-$8.5.
The designs of the two cheap inns seem comfortable. Although fairly cheap in this place. So, I decided to share with you, maybe you want to visit Banda Aceh City and look for cheap lodging here.
1. Tsacita Red Doorz
The most common cheap accommodations are those that work with Red Doorz or OYO. In this first part, I will discuss the Tsacita Red Doorz accommodation.
Tsacita Red Doorz is a terraced house which has been converted into an inn. Consists of 3 floors. I got a room on the top floor. It was fun. In the top room I can see the night atmosphere from the balcony.
From the outside, the building looks quite majestic. It's just that the paint of the building is a little pale so it seems like an old building. I think they need some fresh paint to make this place more attractive.
The parking area is quite large which is connected to the park to relax. The green area is spread across the side of the house which is the garden area.
In the garden area there is a children's play area. Complete with children's play facilities. There is also a gazebo to relax in the afternoon.
Then, I immediately took a picture of the room at Tsacita Red Doorz. Actually I booked a king bed, but all I have left is a room with 2 single beds. It does not matter. As it turned out, the 2 single beds were easy to move so I could make 2 single beds into one king bed. Looks pretty good.
This room reminds me of my grandmother's old traditional room. Simple, and has some women's favorite flower paintings.
The traditional impression is also seen in the use of lace sheets exactly like those used in my mother and grandmother's time at home. However, in this place, added another layer of a more modern bedcover.
On the wall there is also a window with a simple curtain. Because this room uses air conditioning, the owner of this place closes the window.
There are no cupboards to save space. There is a simple sideboard of wood and a simple mirror. Quite according to its function.
Everything in this room functions well, including a clean bathroom. (It's just that I forgot to take pictures of the bathroom in this room. Sorry).
The view from the room is quite satisfying. Have a wide field of view, even though it is slightly covered by the side roofs of this house.
Convenient design for inexpensive lodging. Tsacita Red Doorz is one of the places on my list of recommended lodgings.
2. OYO Capital O Ring Road Banda Aceh
In my opinion, the design of the second inn is better. Although the price is only slightly different. This inn is impressed as a hotel compared to OYO.
In Indonesia, lodging is already spread under the purview of OYO. We also know OYO as cheap lodging, even though the facilities will be very different from hotels.
But this time I found OYO Capital O Ring Road Banda Aceh, which seemed like a 3-star hotel with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms.
From the outside of the building, they dominate attention with their striking purple color. While on the inside it seems more calm. They apply neutral colors such as wood color and brick color.
The halls of the rooms are decorated with paintings. There is also a place to smoke or drink coffee.
Let's see the room I booked. To think that this room is quite spacious! Like in hotels.
Their sheets and bed covers also use the exact white color in the hotel and are clean. That's the important point. CLEAN. Then, they put two small red pillows as their branding. Pretty cute.
The walls also use brick wallpaper for some space. To sweeten the room, placed a painting there. Good.
There is a minimalist wardrobe next to the bed table. It is quite appreciated for rooms at low prices. Good.
Furthermore, there is a work desk as well as a small TV. Located at the end of the bed.
There is also a window which makes this room even nicer. And a big mirror before we head to the bathroom.
Next is the bathroom. Quite spacious and clean. Hot and cold water is available right at the hotel. The sink and toilet also use the same material like in a luxury hotel. really worth it!
