Do you think there is a specific age for exercising, or can we work out at any stage of our lives? Do you currently exercise?

There is no specific age for exercise, but there is a specific kind of exercise for everybody. We are a bit different, and a particular type of exercise might be good for me but might not be good for you.

Now I have basic knowledge of physiotherapy. I have been trained, and I can tell you that not all kinds of exercise should everyone participate in. I remember when I was 18, I used to exercise a lot every day, and I took shape, but when I had accidents, I couldn't do that kind of exercise anymore. That was when I realized that there is a specific exercise for a specific kind of body. For example, someone who wants to reduce their pot belly is going to take a different exercise from someone who already has a flat tummy, but they are also doing general exercise whereby everyone can partake in, especially exercise that helps the lungs and the kidney, etc.

I have realized that some exercise can make you add up and some exercise can make you slim down, so if you are not guided well, you might likely get it wrong when you are exercising. Do you expect a certain thing, but it's not, uh, what you expected, speaking from experience?

I would say that it is good to start exercising when you are very young; there are lots of advantages when you start early. It is better than when you start late. Starting late isn't bad, but it's not as effective as it would have been if you started young, but consistency, energy, and passion can restore time when it comes to exercise.

My mom is 56, and I have been forcing her to exercise because there is a way she keeps feeling her body structure; everything became stiff, and I had to start helping her out, and all those chronic diseases started finding their way out of our bodies. The reason why you see people age quickly is because they haven't been exercising regularly, and that is a physical effect on the body. Yes, most people think that exercising is just working out or trekking, but exercising is beyond checking how many kilometers you have walked.

Exercising as a technique needs wisdom because there are some exercises you undergo, and you might affect your physical body badly; when I was 18, I did exercise consistently until I was 24, when I had a major accident that affected my spine, and this is three years now. My spine is still in the recovering mode. Yes, initially I didn't know that I'm not supposed to do certain kinds of exercise until a physiotherapist advised me on what to do. That was when I was in the clinic, and I discovered that at this point in my life, they are things I cannot do. Do you know that even though I can walk on my own now, I can't stroll for a longer time, as some people may do because, you know, the spine affects the brain; everything is interconnected, and so there must be a specific exercise for a specific kind of body and situation. Why exercise is good: we all caution, and we all need to study our body so we get it right.

I exercise every day because it is what I've been doing for the past 9 years, though the types of exercise I do now are different from that which I did in the last six years; I'm 27 and approaching 28, but I actually looked younger than my age mates, and you know you can't beat consistency. Consistency is one of the things I have put in my health, and I'm happy about it. I coach younger people, elderly people, and my family members on exercise. I know different body parts that are affected and how you can get healing through exercise. One of the reasons why I exercise is that I don't take porch medicine, but exercise cleanses my gut. In 2022, when I was down, I didn't know what to do. A friend of mine who is in the medical space advised me to exercise, and I took his advice, and that was how my gut was clean. Honestly speaking, I vomited something that I can't explain in this write-up. I didn't take any medication because there are so many health benefits that I have partaken of, and I will always recommend it for anyone to do because you will save yourself from so many diseases, and you will spend less money in the hospital if you know the right thing to do: Exercising is just like one saying prevention is better than cure, so you exercise to prevent yourself from an outbreak of a disease that's supposed not to be found in your body.

There are so many toxins in our bodies, especially as ladies. A young lady came to me and had some menstrual issues, and I recommended exercising to her because our hormones were down. I even wonder how she survived as a lady not feeling anything, not feeling touches. At some point she could not even have a menstrual flow again, but thank God she took my advice and took those medications that were given to her, and her flow came out. I just pray she stays consistent in exercising, and in her medication, exercise may be a booster. Some people will never be healthy no matter how healthy they eat until they add exercise to their food; some people's skin will never glow until they have exercise in their skin care routine; some people will keep struggling with having good mental health until they have exercise in their daily life, so I believe you see why I do exercise? I love it, though initially I wasn't really consistent, but with time I was able to enjoy what I'm doing, and knowing the health benefits, I choose to go on this path. I really appreciate this topic on exercise, and it makes me feel excited already.

Thanks for stopping by to read; see you in my next post.
