As many have been calling it, this may have been the worst kept secret in the gaming world for awhile. After the success of the Crash Bandicoot N-Sane collection of the original trilogy, people started immediately talking about how great it would be to have a Spyro collection. I was definitely one of the people hoping for it, and it was pretty quick that a lot of tell-tale signs that the game was coming at some point. The one thing that seemed almost certain is that people thought it would be a timed exclusive for the PS4. This is basically what the Crash Trilogy did, since the game has been on PS4 for a year, but is now just coming to all the other platforms like Xbox and Switch this June ( I think I might have actually written about this).
WELL if you have seen the news else where or took the time to watch the video above, you will be just as pleased as I am to see that the game is also coming to the Xbox One! Rumors are still turning that it is exclusive in the sense that it is only coming to PS4 and Xbox One for now and that a Switch and PC version is in the works for the future. I'm not sure about any of the rumors, but I am just happy to see that the series will be coming to the Xbox One in such a short time since that is what I play on!
After seeing this new trailer, another detail that came up made people even more excited about something...the fact that the game is using the original model of Spyro and not the really crappy (in my opinion and many others apparently) Skylanders version of Spyro. Another thing is that the original soundtrack is being completely remastered by the original composer! So many things are staying how we love them so there is no doubt in my mind that it will be an amazing trilogy remake just like Crash!
