• In this post, I will share a battle where I used GRUMPY DWARF which monster is the theme card for Share Your Weekly Battle Challenge.

In this battle I used:

• ALRIC STORMBRINGER (RARE Water Summoner).

• FROZEN SOLDIER (RARE Water Monster).

• GRUMPY DWARF (COMMON Neutral Monster).

• MEDUSA (RARE Neutral Monster).

• ICE PIXIE (RARE Water Monster).

• ELVEN MYSTIC (RARE Neutral Monster).

• For this battle, The battle rule was "Standard" and the mana cap was 30.

I was using ALRIC STORMBRINGER (RARE Water Summoner) which has the ability to increase the magic attack power of every friendly magic attack monster. So 3 of my magic attack monster's magic power increased.

The opponent was using MALRIC INFERNO (RARE FIRE Summoner) which has the ability to increase the melee attack power of every friendly melee attack monster. So 4 of the enemy melee attack monster's melee power increased.

At round 1,

• I decided to use magic attack monsters because my opponent most of the time uses the fire summoner and monsters. The lineup he was using was very strong. The Rare Fire monster LIVING LAVA has Shield ability that can reduce the damage from melee and ranged attack. but it can not reduce the damage of the magic attacks. As a result in the first round of the match, 3 magic monsters hit the health of LIVING LAVA and killed that monster. LIVING LAVA didn't even get a chance to hit my monster.

• Two Sneak ability monsters KOBOLD MINER and ELVEN CUTTHROAT of the enemy team was hitting the last monster of my lineup ELVEN MYSTIC. And they succeeded to kill that monster.

At round 2

• Another Rare monster from the opponent's team CERBERUS died first at the beginning of round 2. This enemy monster CERBERUS comes with Heal ability that can restore a portion of health at every round. But unfortunately CERBERUS didn't get a chance to heal.

• The rest of the enemy monsters were very low on health. Each of my monsters needed only one hit to killed those enemy monsters.

• At the 6th hit, FROZEN SOLDIER killed the enemy monster KOBOLD MINER.

• At the 8th hit, MEDUSA killed the enemy monster ELVEN CUTTHROAT.

• At the 10th hit, GRUMPY DWARF killed the enemy monster SPARK PIXIES.

Did my strategy work?

• Yes, of course. It should work. The lineup I had used is very strong against the FIRE monsters. Because most of the fire monsters are low on health and with magic attack power, these monsters never miss their target. So most of the time this strategy works very well. You should try it also.

Do I like the GRUMPY DWARF?

• Yes, this COMMON Neutral monster GRUMPY DWARF is worth using in battle. Though this is a melee attack monster, GRUMPY DWARF can attack from the second position because of its Reach ability which is very helpful in a battle.

• Also this monster cost very low mana so this is another plus point.
