In today's post, I am answering 
Disclaimer ~ I am not a technical person. My answer to these questions will be from a nontechnical point of view.
Hive is my new neighborhood. I moved in about a week ago. I am still learning who my neighbors are. Who cuts their lawn waking me up on a Saturday morning? Who likes to stop and chat over the fence with a cup of coffee? Who has a ten-foot fence around their house that makes you want to peek through to see what they are hiding? All the things you learn slowly over time.
I am happy to say my new house is starting to feel a bit more like home. After the rent became too high a price to pay at my last home, I am a little gun shy of settling in too quickly. It is hard to let go of old places that meant so much to me. I have never been good at change. Though, when I do decide to change I never look back. I proceed with caution. Always moving forward.
Hive gives me hope. Hope that people can put past actions behind them and give people a new chance. I have already seen this in action in Hive's Discord server on more than one occasion. Seeing people willing to start over and forget old grievances makes me happy and proud I came to Hive.
I will admit here that I was planning on moving before the rent was jacked up beyond anything I was willing to pay. The higher rent just brought clarity to me that I made the correct decision for myself.
Last night I added some new wallpaper and a little paint on my new home. It felt good and right. I am sure soon my good pillow and blankets will come out of storage to make Hive my new home and not just a house.
To new beginnings! Just please, no lawn mowing before 2 pm on a Saturday! Thank You!!
I will start with my selfish answer first. I would love it if there is always a front end that shows all of the posts recorded to the blockchain Hive. I love scrolling down the newest posts feed and looking at what happens to come across my way. I have read, and met, some of the nicest people by doing that. Selfishly I do not ever want to lose that ability.
Easy onboarding. I would love to see people not needing a Masters's degree in 'How to Google' to be able to make an account and start interacting on the chain the same day.
I would love to see Dapps on Hive that no one has ever seen before. Something new not just a copy of something old with a new skin on it.
I want to see a Front end or a DApp made that shows a nontechnical person how to go about starting their own blogging business with just a phone or old laptop. A place made to empower people. A place where learning and making mistakes is okay.
A place where anyone can try to have a better life for themselves through hard work in a positive environment.
I think this is a great idea if used correctly. Can what is being funded stand on their own in a year? Two years? If so, I do not have a problem with it.
If Hive doesn't develop it doesn't grow. If it doesn't grow, we do not grow.
I think there needs to be more accountability to those that do get funding. No more Spam, Scams, and Scrams. Please!
Get everything in writing. Documented. Follow through if the funding is not being used as they said they would. Make those that receive funding accountable.
A place to be me. Just plain old me. It's all I ever wanted in life.
