People come and go in your life. I think when you meet people there is a reason. For good, bad, to learn a lesson, you are meant to run into the people that you do. What happens when you meet that person is where free will comes into play. It's your free will that decides the outcome of what happens when you meet someone. This is how I see life.
@Guiltyparies, who I am lucky enough to have as a friend, likes to tease, kid and goof around while silently helping all in his path and never taking credit where credit is due. He wrote a post called Three Wishes and told us his three wishes.
I wasn't planning on writing a post tonight or tomorrow for that matter. Life has been shoving things in my path to make me slow down. Take stock on what is really important to me.
Yesterday was proof of that. I finally was feeling better then I have in a month. I came home from running errands, slipped on the ice in front of the stairs leading into my house. I'm very bruised but thank God not broken.
Today I had important plans for something I have been wanting to do for a long time now. It wasn't meant to be. I had to take a lot of medication today so I could move.
The only thing I was good for was live streaming 'The Sims 4: How to build' for about an hour. It wasn't a good stream because I mumbled through it all. Why live stream then? I knew it would help me stop feeling sorry for myself for a little while.
While tired, but not, I was jumping around watching videos so I didn't have to think when my phone went off. @Partiko told me I had been tagged in a post called Three Wishes by the one and only Guilty. I read the post. I swore. 😁 He does so much for so many, I had to do right by him and make a post.
Now I could wait to write this post but if I do, it will never get done. I know what this month already has in store for me so it's now or never to tell you my three wishes.
Here we go.
I wish Steem would go closer to the moon so my son and his wife could build a house in Florida that has an inlaw attachment on it. The inlaw attachment would be a small size house with a kitchen and all. My Mom could move in with them, still have her own house, and freedom.
This would give me peace knowing my son and wife have a place in the USA to call home but also give everyone space to live a happy life.
I would like to own an island that has about twelve houses. Each house built a little different. The one thing the 12 houses would have in common was privacy. Great internet goes without saying. In the middle of the Island would be a group area. Pool, game room, you name it, it would be there.
This Island would be for some of the people I know. This way they would always know they have a home somewhere in this world no matter how far they travel. A safe place to call Home where they are wanted for just who they are.
Last wish......I wish someone would come to clean out my spare room in my house. Take all the walls down, rewire it and turn it into a live streaming studio/office. A place where no noise can come through the walls. No, not like a cell. 😋 I still want windows and sunshine too. It would be filled with a big fluffy couch behind the desk for afternoon naps.
Once done, they would then set up all the programs and teach me how to use it all. I learn by asking questions and doing, so life gets frustrating at times learning new things with no one to ask that is right over your shoulder pointing it out on the screen to me.
