Coloring Page Colored by Me in the Lake App
As most of you know, my computer died and is getting fixed as I write this. Well, it's 5:30 am, and I highly doubt my computer guy is awake and working on my desktop right now, but you get the idea. I am hoping to get my desktop back sometime this weekend.
I have an iPad I have been trying to learn how to use. It is frustrating at times, most of the time because I want it to work just like my desktop. It never will. I know this as an intelligent person, but it doesn't stop the want.
As I was looking at my two desks and the mounds of crap piled higher than the windows, it was too hard to find anything or any space to do anything with the material things I own. Cleaning my computer area has been on my list for a year. I have not gotten the cleaning done due to one thing or another.
I had already put the game Hearthstone on the iPad when I went down to help my mom out. I am here to say that you can play way too many games of Hearthstone and never want to play it again. At this point, I started looking in the Apple App Store, not to be confused with the Apple Store, where they do not sell anything under 200.00 USD.
I remembered a YouTuber tested out some coloring apps. I thought, Hmm. Maybe Apple has better ones than the Google play store, and I was correct! The first one I looked at is called Lake. I saw some of the coloring books authors I loved in the advertisement. It was an excellent start!
You could do a seven-day free trial and then play 10.00 a month or 39.78 a year. I did not think I would need it for more than seven days, so I downloaded it.
Greetings Page
When loading Lake, you will be asked a few questions about what you like to color. After you answer those questions, it will take you to your Hey! page.
The top line of coloring pages is chosen based on your answers. You can pick any or all of those to color.
Just underneath those pages, you can see my blue journal. You do not have to do a journal entry, but I find them fun. They will ask about your mood for the day and make a color pallet based on that mood.
The journal pages also give you a space to write down anything you want.
You can save any coloring page you start to Your Studio. You can go back in and pick up right where you left off. I like that about this App too.
I can sit down feeling one way and have to get up and talk to someone, and when I get back, I still like the page, but my mood has changed. With being able to save your work-in-progress pages, you never have to worry all your hard work will be lost.
This should have been a photo of my Gallery but after twelve tries of uploading one photo, I gave up.
This is one of the photos in my gallery
The bottom line is this App is relaxing and a lot of fun. I also wish they made the same App’s for android and iOS.
Now after trying to get this written, photos uploaded, and posted which we still have to try….I have a headache and miss my real computer more and more. LOLL
